Hartford, CT, November 12, 2019 – Shoptech has been raising money to benefit Fisher House in honor of Veterans Day. Fisher House provides housing for veterans and their families when one of them needs to visit the hospital. This allows the families to focus on being with their loved ones without having to worry about hotel costs.

Shoptech raised money for Fisher House by selling Veteran’s Day t-shirts and asking for donations on the Fisher House website, which will be open through the end of November. The Veteran’s Day t-shirts were available at no charge to veterans among Shoptech’s staff and customers. Shoptech also agreed to match every donation up to $5,000. On Veteran’s Day (November 11th), Shoptech was proud to announce a donation of $5,000 to Fisher House. They sold 165 shirts to both employees and customers, and Shoptech took in many donations through the Fisher House website. Shoptech is proud to donate to an organization that will change the lives of veterans and their families.
