Shoptech’s E2 Shop System now features a way for manufacturers in the automotive supply chain to meet stringent ISO/TS 16949 international quality standards.
Glastonbury, CT – In response to the growing number of manufacturers serving the automotive supply chain, E2 Shop System’s quality management system (QMS) has expanded to incorporate the ISO/TS 16949 standard for automotive suppliers. Now part of E2’s ISO Implementation Program, the ISO/TS 16949 standard sets guidelines for the increasingly quality-conscious automotive supply chain.
Shoptech’s lead auditors help customers leverage the technology and services provided by the E2 Shop System to become certified to meet the ISO/TS16949 international quality standard.
The automotive industry demands manufacturers comply with the strictest requirements for ISO/TS16949. Created by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and the ISO Technical Committee, ISO/TS 16949 establishes guidelines for continual improvement by focusing on reducing waste, defects and variation in the automotive supply chain.
The ISO/TS 16949 ISO Implementation Program includes a complete set of Quality Management System documents including a quality manual, all required procedures, forms, and an interactive cadre of processes designed to represent all activities within a manufacturing organization in conjunction with the requirements of ISO/TS16949. The ISO/TS16949 ISO Implementation Program ensures customers become certified in the most cost-effective manner in a matter of weeks instead of months or years.
Shoptech Software has worked extensively during the last six years with customers all across North America by providing a complete set of Quality Management System documents generated by the combination of the E2 Rapid Documentation System, on-site ISO training, and internal audits in conjunction with the ISO9001:2008, ISO13485, and AS9100 International Standards to ensure that customers become certification ready. Because of the success of the ISO Implementation Program, customers have taken notice of the ease in which they can become certified to an international quality standard, including companies that are Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 providers of products for the automotive industry.
