Why did Action Metal Choose E2?

Action Metal General Manager Brad Thellman knew it was time to look for new software when his old DOS-based system became obsolete and could no longer be supported by his provider. After considering a number of options, he selected E2 fabrication shop software and began his implementation in 2003. E2 offered him a total, yet easily expandable package at a reasonable price. “The ability to compile all of my information into one place was a big selling point,” says Brad. “I can attach drawings and everything right to the job.”

The Results… So far

In addition to having a manufacturing software system that is much easier to use than his old DOS-based program, Brad Thellman has seen other improvements to his shop operation. Probably the biggest improvement is his ability to attach drawings right to his job travelers – this maximizes the time his employees spend working, rather than chasing down paperwork. He also has seen great improvements in issuing quotations: “Once the information’s in the system, you do a quote really quickly.” He is anxious to put E2 job shop software through all of its paces, learning more about what the system can do, but for now, Action Metal and E2 are off to a great start together.
