Why did PMS Mfg. Choose E2?
PMS Vice President Dayne Perruzzi can look back and see how his company has grown over the years. “In the old days”, he was using computer software for his accounting and a typewriter for everything else. Growing his business required modernizing first his invoicing and purchasing software, and his research led him to E2 fabrication shop software. As Dayne and his employees became more familiar with the E2, they were able to expand their use of the system to include shop floor control, routing, and estimating material requirements.
The Results… So Far
Through the years, PMS Manufactured Products and E2 have proven to be well suited to one another. Dayne Perruzzi has seen significant improvements in some key areas: PMS can now estimate and purchase materials with much greater accuracy, which helps both PMS and its suppliers maintain a steady supply chain. PMS orders just what it needs, avoiding the cost of maintaining excess inventory. Shop floor control is more accurate; jobs are routed with more precision and smoother workflow. PMS has been able to expand its use of the E2 job shop system as its requirements have grown, and looks forward to an even stronger partnership in the future.
